Most people don’t start a radio career at 14. Zach Dillon did. He was so into music and entertaining that a local college station gave him a Saturday show, which he hosted for two and a half years, and he landed his first full-time paid radio job at 17. He’s been on the air since 1998, hosting mornings, middays, afternoons, and nights and serving as a program director, assistant program director, and music director across Top 40, hot AC, AC, alternative, and country. In 2024, he even won a Cheer Choice Award for Best News, Radio and Media, beating out people with millions of followers. Witty, knowledgeable, and friendly, he loves connecting with listeners.

Raised in Massachusetts, Zach almost chose baseball over radio. He’s a lefty pitcher who wanted to play in the majors, and he says he can still bring it. Now he coaches baseball and softball for his kids, Jonah and Averie, and cheers on Jonah, who’s quickly becoming a standout player. Home is Lynsey, the kids, and Charlie, their rescue lab mix. He collects sports cards, goes to every concert he can, and supports St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and his local church. Ed Sheeran, Parmalee, Tyler Hubbard, Taylor Swift, and Nickelback fill his playlist, his first concert was Montell Jordan, TLC, and Boyz II Men, and “Closer” by the Chainsmokers is a permanent no-skip. Black coffee only, please.
