Demi Lovato is making adjustments to her upcoming tour to protect her health.

On Tuesday (February 10), the "Confident" singer shared an Instagram Story addressed to her "Lovatics" to update them on plans for her It's Not That Deep tour, which kicks off in April. After sharing how "excited" she is to "get back on stage this year and visit you in as many cities as I can," Lovato revealed that several tour dates have been canceled, per Page Six.

The "Sorry Not Sorry" musician explained that while preparing to hit the road, she realized she had "overextended" and as such will cancel five shows in April: Charlotte, N.C. on April 8, Atlanta on April 12, Nashville on April 14, Denver on May 5 and Las Vegas on May 8.

"While starting to prepare for the tour, I realized that I have overextended what may be possible," she said. "To protect my health, and ensure I can give you my all at each show, I need to build in more time to rest and rehearse and ultimately adjust to a schedule with some more time off that will allow me to handle the entire run of the tour."

Of the canceled dates, she added, "I am so sad to say that I will no longer be able to see you on this tour and I am so sorry to those who planned to be there."

Lovato also reassured fans that tickets purchased through Ticketmaster and AXS will be automatically refunded and encouraged fans who bought tickets through third-party resellers to reach out to their point of purchase.

Additionally, the tour will now kick off in Orlando on April 13, rather than its original date of April 10, with previously purchased tickets honored for the new date.

"I am so excited for this tour and am looking forward to seeing so many of your faces singing with me," Lovato concluded. "Thank you for your support always. I love you and I cannot wait to see you soon ❤️"

The It's Not That Deep tour follows the release of Lovato's ninth studio album of the same name, which dropped in October 2025.
