Demi Lovato may have a new favorite dish but she still has the same sense of humor.
The "Sorry Not Sorry" singer appeared on Thursday's (January 15) episode of the Not Gonna Lie podcast where she revealed to host Kylie Kelce that her current favorite dish is "pickle mug" that she got as a Christmas present. The conversation was a callback to an iconic interview answer Lovato gave more than a decade ago, per People.
"It's like a mug that looks like a pickle," the musician said. "I love pickles and I love mugs. And my cousin Braeden got me that for Christmas this year. It was like a pickle mug, and it's my new favorite dish."
Lovato's love of pickles is even reflected in one of her favorite snacks to chow down on with a bag of popcorn while watching a movie in theaters, a concept that blew Kelce's mind and inspired her to try it for herself as "that sounds delicious."
The lore behind Lovato's "favorite dish" dates back to a 2015 interview when the It's Not That Deep hitmaker was asked about their favorite dish, meaning the food they prefer. However, Lovato took a more literal approach to the question when answering mugs "because they're very comfortable in your hand." She later addressed the quip on social media, saying that if anyone didn't realize she was joking "clearly [doesn't] get my sense of humor."
