Ocean Casino Resort has donated $950,000 to the Inlet Community Development Corporation (CDC) in Atlantic City, marking the second consecutive year the casino has made such a contribution. The donation, made on April 29, is part of the Neighborhood Revitalization Tax Credit (NRTC) Program, which offers businesses a 100% tax credit for funds provided to nonprofit entities focused on revitalization efforts.

The Inlet CDC is one of four organizations tasked with improving Atlantic City's neighborhoods. It has been working to preserve the coastal vibe of the Inlet area while bringing in new homes, businesses, and residents. Recent projects include the construction of pickleball courts at Altman Park, the "Beneath the Waves" mural at Hot Bagels, the Historic Gardner’s Basin Hydrangea Trail, and the revitalization of McClinton Park Beach. The CDC has also been involved in expanding homebuyer assistance programs and providing grants for small businesses.

Natalie Devonish, president of the Inlet CDC, expressed gratitude for the casino's support, stating, "Your generous contribution, for the second year in a row, and your commitment to the revitalization of the Inlet neighborhood is truly making a lasting impact in our community."

Michael Intrieri, project lead for the Inlet CDC, highlighted the organization's dedication to revitalizing the neighborhood, saying, "We’re working around the clock 24/7 to do it, and we’re very passionate about it."

The Inlet CDC, established in 2023, is the newest of the four community development corporations in Atlantic City. It aims to continue its efforts in enhancing the quality of life for Inlet residents through strategic grant utilization and sustainable growth initiatives.
