Goodnight Irene's Brew Pub, a popular nightspot in Wildwood, New Jersey, has closed its doors for good after serving patrons for 17 years. The bar, located at 2708 Pacific Avenue, was known for its laid-back vibe, extensive craft beer selection, and cozy outdoor deck. It was a beloved gathering spot for both locals and tourists seeking great food, cold drinks, and memorable nights out.

The announcement of the closure was made via a heartfelt Facebook post that read, "AND THAT’S A WRAP FOLKS! After 17 incredible years, this weekend will sadly be our last… We appreciate you all more than you know. Tonight through Sunday night will be the last time for goodbyes, so we hope to see as many of you as possible."

The reason behind the closure has not been officially disclosed. However, there is a rumor that a bar in Manayunk may have purchased the location, but this has not been confirmed yet. Fans of the pub were quick to share their sadness on social media, with many expressing fond memories of karaoke nights, weekend parties, and evenings spent on the outdoor patio. The closure of Goodnight Irene's marks the end of an era for Wildwood's bustling bar and dining scene.
