Atlantic County's Division of Public Health in New Jersey has announced a series of free flu vaccination clinics for residents aged 18 and older. The clinics will be held at various locations, including Northfield and Hammonton, from late September through October. No appointments are necessary for adults, but pediatric flu clinics do require appointments.

The flu vaccines are particularly recommended for adults over 65, young children, pregnant women, and those with chronic health conditions such as kidney disease, asthma, diabetes, and heart disease. According to the Atlantic County Division of Public Health, getting vaccinated can prevent severe illness, missed work and school, hospitalization, and death.

The clinics will be held every Tuesday from 9 AM to 12 Noon at 201 S. Shore Road, Northfield, and starting from November 19, on the third Tuesday of the month from 10 AM to 12 Noon at 310 Bellevue Avenue, Hammonton.
