Ocean Casino Resort has partnered with global air mobility platform, Blade, to offer non-stop helicopter service to and from New York City. The service, which began on Memorial Day weekend, will run through Labor Day weekend, offering one round trip flight per weekend with six seats for passengers.
The 40-minute trip will take passengers from the Blade Lounge West terminal on West 30th Street, Manhattan, directly to Ocean's rooftop helipad. Upon arrival, passengers will receive dedicated concierge service and a complimentary suite upgrade.
"We are pleased to be partnering with Blade to launch Ocean's customer-facing, by-the-seat helicopter service throughout the summer," said Bill Callahan, General Manager for Ocean Casino Resort. "Our customers have enjoyed privately chartered trips since we built our helipad last year, however adding a scheduled best-in-class travel experience provides yet another fantastic amenity to our award-winning beachfront resort."
The service is priced at $695 each way, a cost that Ocean executives believe will attract a different clientele to Atlantic City, those who are willing to spend. Every passenger who books a flight will also receive an exclusive champagne tumbler and every Blade x Ocean hotel package will include a chilled bottle of Moët Imperial.
