Today is the first day of GIRL SCOUT COOKIE SEASON! This year's theme is "Unbox the Future." I don't know about you, but I can't say "no" to the girl scouts, which means lots of Thin Mint boxes in my house!
There are no new cookies this year and last year's new flavor, Raspberry Rally, has been discontinued. The troops are focusing on the classics, like Thin Mints, Samoas, Tagalongs, Do-si-dos, Trefoils, S'mores and more.
A heads-up about the price - each box will set you back $6. But it is for a good cause, to create opportunities for your local Girl Scout troops.
The season runs through April and exact dates for local sales vary across the country. You can text COOKIES to 59618 for more information. If you don't know a Girl Scout personally, you can purchase boxes online starting February 16.
