Singer d4vd is cooperating with police after a dead body was discovered in an impounded car that's registered to him.
According to a report TMZ published on Tuesday, September 9, the 20-year-old said he didn't even know his Tesla was missing in action. Police broke the news to him that pieces of a deceased woman's body were discovered inside his vehicle after it had been sitting in an impound lot for days. The medical examiner confirmed the female is about 5' 1" and weighs 71 pounds with wavy, black hair. Police discovered the body while she was wearing a tube top, black leggings, and two pieces of jewelry.
The woman wore a metal stud earring and a metal chain bracelet in the shape of a "W." She also has a tattoo on her right index finger of the phrase, "Shhh..." The M.E. could not determine her age or cause of death, but police are treating the situation as a homicide investigation.
Police found the human remains inside a bag in the front trunk of the Tesla. D4vd's car was brought to the impound lot in Hollywood after it was towed from Hollywood Hills. The vehicle had been abandoned for several days, and it wasn't reported stolen. It's not clear if d4vd lent the car to someone or if the vehicle was actually stolen. Nonetheless, the artist is working with the police as they continue to investigate the situation.
D4vd has yet to publicly address the situation, but he's moving like it's business as usual. He looked completely unbothered as he hit the stage at the Fillmore in Minneapolis as part of his world tour. The tour will continue to other major cities until he wraps up the U.S. leg in Los Angeles on September 20. He plans to hit a slew of European countries beginning in October.
