Award-winning actor Kelsey Grammer is set to be a grand marshal for tomorrow's St. Patrick's Day parade in Atlantic City, alongside local businessman and philanthropist Steve Troiano. The parade, which returned last year after a hiatus since 2019 due to the pandemic, will kick off at 1 p.m. on the city's iconic boardwalk.

This isn't Grammer's first time leading a parade in Atlantic City. He was also the grand marshal of the city's Winter Wonderland Christmas parade just a few months ago. In addition to his parade duties, Grammer has been spotted around town more frequently over the past year, even receiving a key to the city from Mayor Marty Small Sr.

The St. Patrick's Day Parade promises to be an eventful occasion with over 120 floats and walking groups expected to participate. More than a dozen string bands and piper bands will add music to the mix as they march down the two-mile route from Ocean Casino Resort down to Albany Ave.

Organizers are hoping this year's event will be "bigger and better than ever," according to Mayor Small. The parade is set to take place rain or shine, so attendees are encouraged to arrive early for prime viewing spots along the boardwalk.

Grammer is best known for his roles on television shows like "Frasier" and "Cheers." Recently, he has been promoting his beer brand, Faith American Brewing Company, at local bars in Atlantic City.
