We've all been there. A big game, might even be hypothetically last nights Eagles game. But we've all had our sports teams lose a big game that really makes everyone sad. Some, as we know take sports way more seriously than others....and I'm strictly talking about Super Fans. You know who they are, they always get TV time because they're in full uniform and makeup and in the Eagles case...huge wings.
Last nights loss got me thinking, what do those people do after the game. They spend hours getting ready, they spent tons of money on travel to get to the game and that extra checked bag for the shoulder pads, obviously.
What is the vibe after the game. Do you drive up in full makeup? Do you clean it off and get changed in the parking lot? To me, nothing would be funnier than to see this guy merging in traffic on the Ben Franklin.
Image the road rage because someone wants to merge and you look over and a guy in full shoulder pads and make up giving you the finger?
These things work out if you win, but if you don't you are such a target on the way out for all the fans to yell at...but if you are dressing like this...you know that, accept that and most likely welcome that...
Love these guys, they are a staple across the league but today take a second and laugh at the fact that someone saw him driving to his hotel last night...in Tampa Bay...without a clue that there was a game and thought to themselves...how do I explain this one?
